Yippee! Not Sunfeast noodles! (Kimchi Noodles recipe)

Curry noodles are amazing, yes. And they beat the normal noodles you can get anyway, but hey! Nothing wrong with new recipes that give you variety in your noodle life! Time for some

Kimchi Noodles to kick your taste buds right in the bud. As usual, use the #Shougaiwa and #KimchiNoodles to let us know what you made!

Let's get into it!


1) 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

2) 5 shiitake mushrooms, thinly sliced

3) 50 grams Shougaiwa Kimchi, chopped

4) 2 tablespoons Shougaiwa Kimchi juice

5) 2 cups chicken or vegetable stock

6) 2 teaspoons chilli flakes or powder

7) ¼ teaspoon sugar

8) 1 teaspoon sesame oil

9) 1 package instant noodles

10) 1 scallion, sliced thinly


1) In a medium pot, add the vegetable oil and the mushrooms. Stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add the Shougaiwa kimchi and stir-fry for another 2 minutes. Chicken can be added if needed

2) Add the Shougaiwa kimchi juice, stock, chilli flakes/powder, sugar, and sesame oil. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes

3) Meanwhile, boil noodles of your choice. Transfer the cooked noodles to a bowl. Pour your broth over the noodles, and serve with scallions on top

4) Note: If you prefer, you can also boil the noodles directly in the pot of broth

5) Cheese can be added to the broth to add more flavour
